What is Semi-Flexible 3D Mat?

The semiflexible 3D-Steel Grid /Mat is made from galvanized steel sheet. The depth of this mat is 8 cm and is available in 1.15- 1.2 m wide panels having 3 m in length. These panels are used as facing elements with soil nailing for the protection of landslides and soil erosion since last thirty years. The system of soil nailing with semi-flexible 3D panel is also called Krismer System in Europe which is named after the company J. Krismer Handelsgesellschaft m.b.H, Austria. In Nepal we can name it "semi-flexible 3D mat" or simply as "Pahiro Jali".
